A Fantasy Draft Yankees Dynasty

RaysFTW

Recommended Posts

Since, I got a ps2, I had to let go of my old dynasty. I also got MLB 07: The Show along with my PS2, so I've been playing that for the majority of my time. I'm going to do a fantasy draft dynasty with the Yankees and the draft order will be random, going in a serpent form. I will post the post-draft roster's later, till then.

Game: MLB 07: The Show

Difficulty: Veteran

Guess Pitch: On

Sliders: Custom

Pitching Camera: Catcher

Batting Camera: Catcher

Also, I will be taking pictures with my cell phone, so they may be a little bit blury or I may just post the score and the game summary...your call.

Thank you and please enjoy this dynasty (as it will be easier to finish).

*Note: This team may be better to you than 26th, but most of these guys haven't proven themselves and guys such as Ryan Zimmerman are rated worse than guys like Morgan Ensberg, so don't judge this as an unfair, "too good" of a team. Enjoy the show. :)

Game One

In an early slugfest for the Yanks, but a late pitching struggle, Justin Verlander came out on top. Matt Cain gave up 10 hits in 6 1/3, while allowing 3 runs. Justin Verlander went 7 1/3, allowing 5 hits and not allowing a run. In the early stages of the game, Delmon Young delivered with a 2-run double to put the Yanks in an early 3-0 lead. In the first 3 innings of the game, Matt Cain struggled allowing 7 of his 10 hits during this span. After that, he was amazing only allowing 3 hits and striking out 5. Verlander went by with groundball outs. He got out of a 1 out, 1 man on first base jam 2 times in the first two innings. The D-Rays came back in the 8th inning when Fernando Cabrera came into the game. Michael Young stepped up to the plate and delivered a 2-RBI Double. Young cut the deficit to just one run, but when Tankersley came into the 9th he was lights out getting the hard-earned save as two men were on with 2 outs in the top of the 9th.

i only have one question, what the guess pitch?

Good luck

A "Guess Pitch" is a feature in MLB07: The Show. Basicly if you are up to bat you press a button (i dont know what one it is) and a chart comes up (i think) and it tells the pitchers pitches he can throw. You must guess what pitch he is throwing by pressing the button selected for each pitch. If you get the guess right, Not only do you know what the pitch is, But it will show you EXACTLY where the pitch is going.

dont you love how every game has its cool feature. Like MVP has H.E

Former Colorado Rockies slugger Dante Bichette has announced that he might want to come back for a couple more seasons. Bichette said that he was tired of not being around the game, although, he does coach his own baseball team. Bichette, pending commishioner's approval, will be placed in the Free Agent Pool in a matter of a week. At the age of 45, Bichette will be the second oldest man in the league behind Mets first basemen, Julio Franco. Possible teams that are interested in Bichette are the Nationals, Diamondbacks, Red Sox, Yankees, Rangers, and Cardinals.

is bichette in the game or are you going to create him from scratch?

I plan on creating him from scratch. He probably won't look like what he does in real life, but that's not the point, I'm going to try to make his ratings as accurate as possible.
