DJAelbi
Say I wanted to move Dwight Gooden from MVP94 to my MVP07 rosters including his portrait and cybeface. Besides using mvpedit and simply moving him, how do I move his portrait and cyberface without interupting the players that are already in MVP07? Hopefully someone can give me a simple step by step on how to do this. I have a few other players I would like to do this with as well. Has anyone created a program that will do the work for you, so that all you have to do is put the player in to the program and click a button and the player is now on a different roster without screwing up another player? How many Cyberfaces can go into one models.big? How do you move portraits? Also, what's the simplest way to make a portrait out of pictures? I've seen identical portraits to that of pictures that are small from the minorleague site and various. I'd like to make simple portraits for myself. Thanks, whomever. Homer
good lord...okay here goes... to get pics to make portraits: http://pressbox.mlb.com/pressbox/headshots/index.jsp to make portraits: http://www.eamods.com/ForumsPro/viewtopic/t=445.html cyberfaces are limited to 900, numbers 1-900. those above 900 are generics. in mvpedit, you can use 901-915. you know that the cyberfaces are in the models.big file. figure out which number dwight gooden is by looking in mvpedit under the appearance tab in 94. open the models.big file from 94 with Biggui. highlight those the cyberface files. there's three of them, starting with a "C" and then with the numbers assigned to gooden. then go to Edit>Export and export them anywhere. unfortunately, i believe 07 uses all the cyberface slots. so you will need to replace one of them. find someone you don't care would have generic face and assign them the generic face. remember the number they were and assign that to gooden. re-export the roster into 07. then renumber the gooden cyberface files you exported to the number you just assigned. then zip it up and install with the Tit. portraits are found in the portraits.big file. open up 94 in mvpedit to check to see what number gooden is. then open 07 in mvpedit and go to Edit or Tools. can't remember which. but under one of those is a photo list. check to see if gooden's number is taken up. if it is, again, you need to find an empty one and follow the steps above. if it's not used, you're good to go. DJAelbi
OK, got all that. What about minor league player portraits? Or ex player portraits? Where, for instance, do the portraits from 1994 come from? So that I can make some that aren't already present. Scanned baseball cards or something? How big does the picture have to be before tuning it into a portrait? Is there an easier way to make the portraits with photo shop. A quick way?
