I've always been partial to Zito and Griffey above all. Griffey, because, well, he's Griffey. Not much to say there. Nomar Garciaparra-Left Boston, couldn't do a push up without tearing something Barry Bonds-Well... Rick Ankiel-Collapsed, didn't appear back until this year, and now the HGH allegations... Ken Griffey Jr.-Future Hall of Famer, who like Nomar, couldn't stay healthy. Should have been the best ever. Pedro Martinez-Left Boston, wasn't the same after that All-Star Game. All of my favorite players from that time have changed for the worse. It's kind of a depressing thought to think about how Barry has changed and all of the unrealized things with those other players.
