meteamo
I do not know how to break the news to you, but JR still plays baseball Maybe he knows something we don't. Favorite Player Never On Mets: Derek Jeter Favorite Player When Growing Up: Griffey Jr. Jeter's a great ball player, comes up big in key moments such as in the playoffs and outside of baseball, he's a respectable person unlike some of the other pro athletes today. I saw him being interviewed by Barbara Walters and he said all the right things. A lot of credit goes to his parents. And as said before me, Griffey is Griffey. Too bad he got injured. I thought he would be the one that would break Aaron's record.

AstroEric
I liked Ryne Sandberg, because my Dad is a Cubs fan. Right now, though, it's anybody Japanese, especially Ichiro.

D-Unit
It was Mark Grace, and then earlier this year he said Mariano Rivera has "as many saves as a dead man." Now. F*** him. Ryne Sandberg.

zneal89
It's tough to pick players to never have played for your team. All-Time: Mike Schmidt Current: Mark Teixera
ronmexico
Was that a Rod Beck reference? I'm pretty sure it was when Mo had 0 saves until the near end of April...
D-Unit
I don't get it. Earlier this season when Mariano didn't have a save recorded (because the Yankees were playing like crap and only winning blowouts), Mark Grace said on FOX that Mo had as many saves as a dead man. So f*** him.
pierrick
I still like players not on Mariners rosters anymore like Spiezo and Pineiro but if I must go with a player who never wore a Mariners Jersey...well I'd say David Wright... No particular reason but I followed the Mets after the Mariners were out of contention and I like both his batting and fielding "style"... (hope nobody will make a link between the Mets' end of season and the fact that I supported them for a few week  )
