Anyway, yeah, I'm glad someone else is considering the October hiatus. Just figured it was a good way to recharge the batteries while there's still professional baseball being played.

Bush is a dictator in a lot of ways. I just hope you realize that before you go on any ignorant rants.

112155, this is not a thread for you to start talking about politics. And I am talking directly to you because you were the one to bring it up first.

I don't care what you political views are and I won't question them. And I don't care what Sean O's political views are either and I won't question his also. The same goes for everyone here, from Trues to the newest member that joined today.

I am not saying do not talk about politics because I have no right to say what you can't or can talk about (unless it pertains to illegal software use and how to get it, but that's another story.) Whatever you want to talk about in here and discuss is fine, but what I am saying is this is not the thread to bring up politics because this had nothing to do with it. If you want, start a political thread and then you'll be all set.

I think it all depends upon the person and the size of the mod they are working on. The 1978 season mod took me 8 months to complete, and I was spending as much time as I could on it as well as balancing work, family (a wife and 3 teenage daughters), etc. After spending all that time on it and finally getting it so close to finishing it, I just wanted to get it out the door.

My fatigue didn't last too long, as a few weeks later, I started working on the loading screen's for tebjr's 1988 season mod, started the 1956 season mod and also continued working with AlexTony on the next installment of Total Classics.

This time, however, I definitely do need a break as I can't remember the last time I actually played a real, complete game (and wasn't just testing a mod).

well, it's not like I'm modding all that much these days anyway, but I don't think I'll do much next month. There's a possibility that I might have to combine watching the Indians play the WS and still attending college (not to mention study for tests), so that doesn't leave alot of time for cyberfaces.
