I just changed a few of my teams in MVP 2005 and i want to do something but dont know if it is possible. Remember how in MVP 03 or 04 you could create a custom tournament with different teams and have like a round robin and then playoffs. Well, i want to do that but i knwo that you cant create custom teams in game. Can you chnage the configuration of the ML franchises to get it into like groups of 4 instead of the division. Like change MLB into a custom league. Please help me if you can.

You can actually have custom teams but you will have to edit one of the preset teams. For example, I had changed the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in my 07 dynasty to the Las Venturas Bandits. But its my understanding that you just cannot add a new team to the game.

Things that you will need to modify a current team to mimic a custom team:

MVPEdit - to update rosters

LocLook - to change the team names

EAGraph - if you are planning on installing uniforms as well (I think InstallerThingy can install uniforms as well, but I am not sure)

You can move teams into different leagues (AL or NL) or into different divisions (East, West, Central) by editing the team.dat roster file with a text editor, however, there is no way to have more than 3 divisions in each league. The game is programmed to only expect 3 divisions.

The short answer to your question, then, is no, you cannot change the format of the leagues.
