Mets finish Sweep: Cox Fired up after the game

mvp20052007-10-1912-10-33-54.jpg

Above: Bobby Cox Talks with Second baseman Kelly Johnson

Atlanta-- Bobby Cox got up and left the dugout before the game ended this afternoon. It wasn't that he was upset, or angered. Bobby cox was just frustrated that John Smoltz wasn't taking home a win, because his bullpen blew the game. "You don't like to see that happen. Our last few starters have struggled, and when you get a good game from a guy like smoltz, you have to hold onto the lead." Cox was also upset about the top of the order. " I was telling Kelly, he is pressing too much. He should be alright, but when he and Edgar aren't hitting, the top of our order isn't producing." Cox went on to state not to be surprised if the lineup gets moved around a little.

In other News: Mark Teixiera's Home run streak came to an end. Teixiera had a single in the game.
