wrigleyville33
ok, well i did what kraw's tutorial said to do... so then i went over at eamods and downloaded mvp edit. so i install mvp edit and i go to import to retrieve my portrait, only to find out that the file i saved it under isnt even there. so i go back to photoshop and open that same exact folder and everything is there... so how do i get these files to show up in mvp edit? wrigleyville33
ok i tried a normal 2007 aram portrait to see if it would work. i created a file as portraits and save the portrait items under the file portraits i just created. i saved the items and a bmp or what ever it was, i click on mvp edit and once again, the file is there its just that nothing is in. so then i saw that it says select dat. file. so i thought it was bmp... i get this to work, and i am using MVPEDIT 2006 as it is titled in eamods, this is very confusing. thanks for the help again. kgbaseball
Yikes, you have absolutely idea what you're doing. To see every player's portraits in MVPEdit, you need to go to Options, and double click on the "data" folder. Also make sure "Show Player Portraits" is checked in the Options. kraw's tutorial should be fine for actually making the portrait, but installing it is a different story. If it's a 2x portrait (256x256), make sure "Export 2x Portraits" is checked in the Options menu. If it's a 1x (128x128) portrait, make sure that's not checked. To add a portrait, click on the player's current portrait. Next, click on "New Picture", and locate the file you saved for that. It should be the one with the player's face showing. Load the file in. After that, click on "New Alpha", and load in your alpha (8-bit grayscale) into that spot. Then hit OK, and if everything is good, it should show up. wrigleyville33
no how do you do that? ok to ease your fustration towards me, if you have tutorial on this, feel free to give it to me :)
kgbaseball
Click on Open, then find a roster file. It'll be a .mbe. If you don't have any rosters downloaded, you can go to File-Import-DAT Files, then double click on the database folder, and you'll get a roster to show up. Then you can save that and you can work from there.
