LUSZ Posted October 21, 2007 Share Posted October 21, 2007 I play MVP 07 on all highest settings single player and it runs perfectly. I also recently tried a game of Madden 08 on highest settings ONLINE and it ran fine. However, I'm having issues playing MVP 07 without getting serious choppiness when batting. It lags just as the pitch is coming and I end up barely hitting everything the other way. I've tried toning down everything (turning off crowds and umpires, low player and stadium textures, shadows and reflections off, announcers/music off) and it still happens. I'm on a DSL where downloads usually top out around 190 kb/s and uploads 50 kb/s. Any ideas on how to get a smoother online game going? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gordo Posted February 11, 2008 Share Posted February 11, 2008 My guess is that it's all about the ping. The lower the better for those who don't know (I didn't). I also think an UL speed of 50kb isn't going to cut it. If that's all you can do, you'll need to turn off every essential graphics thing and try to play someone close to your location.
