Where Players Become Legends is the 2007 slogan for the New York Yankees. The organization has decided to keep it the same for the 2008 season.

2008 is going the be a great year for the Yankees. Not only is it the final year in Yankee Stadium history, but it will also be hosting the All-Star game. So in other words, the House That Ruth Built will be going out in style.

2007 was also a productive year for the New York Yankees. Four rookie pitchers helped turn the Yankees season around. Joba Chamberlain, Phillip Hughes, Ian Kennedy, and Edwar Ramirez are there names. Hopefully they can keep it going in 2008 as we have heard that Joba will be entering the starting rotation.

YES NETWORK POST GAME REPORT

Welcome to the first Yankees post game show of the 2008 season, brought to you only on the YES Network! Today was the final Opening Day at Yankee Stadium, and it definetly wasn't the best. The Bombers took on the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, who had a weak 2007 season, going 66-96. Based on today's game, it doesn't look like they will be having another one of those seasons. Lets take a look at the box-score brought to you by W.B. Mason!

Based on the box-score, you can tell Chien-Ming Wang didn't have the greatest of performance. Scott Kazmir went up against him and pitched a complete game, giving up only 2 runs. Now, lets take a look at the pitching performances from both teams.
