I tried it, and I'm not sure if was able to install it, but everytime I download the windows update, my comp crashes, so I'm trying not mess around with windows. You really have to find a sweet spot for everything to run flawlessly and doing that is sad. The service pack fixes a number of hidden files for security, optimization, networking, etc..
