Kccitystar
I keep tons of crap on my desktop. Usually I keep documents and files I need to access quickly on the desktop because I'm too lazy to start clicking on folders to get my files. stEdfuNk
I have everything I need on my start menu, I just dont like having clutter when I'm talking on aim and I can see my desktop. And I have all my downloads go to a downloads folder that I also have on my start menu so I can access it quickly

rolie
nice rolie. gotta have love for horny manatees. and on a side note, what skin is that? are you using vista? love the manatee lol, No vista, just xp with litestep desktop program, I dunno what they call it, but the skin is called "nonstep" It has everything in the taskbar I need, thats why love it. The ultranerds tell me it less memory intrusive then the default explorer shell.

The ultranerds tell me it less memory intrusive then the default explorer shell. Every skin or program I ever saw that dealt with XP themes always has had some sort of adware or spyware on it. Where can I get this "litestep desktop program" that you speak of?... Yankee4Life
Not a flashy one, but it gets the job done. I know I can spruce it up because I have something called Windowblinds but the hell with it.

abc006
Random thought, but why are mac windows always "resotred" while PC windows are always maximized? At least that's what I've noticed... Anyway, here's mine. Don't know why I have that default bamboo wallpaper, but it's sort of nice so for some reason I've stuck with it. The blurred out stuff is just my name, and since it's rather unique, some of you creeps might be able to... I don't know, knock on my door. Oh yeah, and I took that picture in Venice. ronmexico
Mac windows are restored? What's that mean... Also, on mac you don't maximize windows, it resizes it to the appropriate size, such as in Safari, the width of the webpage, or depending on the CSS, the width of the main column n such. abc006
Restored is basically not maximized but still open, like your's are. What you just said explains it now, I get it. (Too bad windows doesn't do something like that...)
ronmexico
Oh, well I prefer to not work with full screen windows, and it wouldn't make as much sense in Windows because you use the taskbar there to navigate, as opposed to Expose and Spaces.
