I changed mine around a bit, I experimented with making a menu-type thing on the left and a mac-style menu at the bottom. I tried to make the taskbar at the bottom auto-hide (so it only appears when the mouse goes over it), but it was acting up, so I just left it as it is. Pretty much everything on the desktop was done with yahoo widgets, highly recommended. So much better and customizable than the sidebar vista comes with.

Yay Konfabulator.

Question ABC, what are those icons that you have...like programs and school, are those just icons to folders?

And also, the dock is a relatively pointless thing if you have a taskbar, but good macking ;)

Yep, just folders with shortcuts to all the programs so they aren't just sitting there on the desktop.

The structure and layout of most of the mac interface is a lot easier to use for the most part, that's one thing I won't hesitate to admit. Really, the dock was just a place to put some more important programs so that I wouldn't have to click on my icons for stuff I use really often. Now, though, I realize I probably could have just put them on my "informer" widget on the top, which is what I'm going to do now.
