tebjr
Was the Tony Conigliaro patch worn in 1990 just on the road uniforms or both? The Hall of Fame site just has it on the road, but I'm not sure. http://exhibits.baseballhalloffame.org/dre...if&Entryid=1660

tebjr
Was the armband that was worn by the Yankees in the '90s just for Mel Allen? I know they had patches for Mantle and DiMaggio, but those were the players numbers over a band, no?
abc006
I'm pretty sure those were also stripes, not numbers.
Homer
it really depends on when you're talking about. during the 90's, they wore several patches, including a #1 for billy martin, a black stripe and #7 for mickey mantle, a black stripe for mel allen, a 5 for dimaggio, and an armband for catfish hunter. BigRog
I picked this up ofF wiki The Boston Red Sox were the second team to start wearing St. Patrick's Day hats in 1990.[39] Many teams have since wearing St. Patrick's day themed jerseys, including the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1980s and Boston Red Sox in 2004. tebjr
Thanks Rog. Did they just start wearing the full green uniform in 2004, and just the hat up until then?
