Nah, their outdated, now the trend is microchips. A knuckle-screw? A 110 mph+ fastball? It's all possible, in the future of baseball. What are other What If? scenerios that can impact the future of baseball? Remember, there are no limitations to the future. Skittles12
baseball teams will have sponsors. So like a EASports logo will be put onto a jersey. Players will be paid in Billions instead of Millions. The Royals win a worldseries.

D-Unit
If possible, Scott Boras will have his name patched onto the jersey of every player he represents. The logo will say "B$" as in "Boras $ells". Boras $ells Out could work too...

They'll be no talk of Coverboy since Boras will always be on the cover. All the profits will go into Boras' pockets. And the only players allowed in the game will be the players he represents. Oh, and another thing ... the other teams will consist of robots. if they do advertisements will they ever do player specific ads? They'd have to do the whole team because if they do get player specific, nobody would want ads on crappy players. $500 per inning for the star player but only $10 per inning for the crappy player. And if the player doesn't even get out of the bullpen to pitch or the dugout to hit, would the sponsers be re-imbursed? :loco:
