Realistic contracts in offseason?

Hello, I'm currently using the UR 8,7 rosters. What I've been doing is simualting an entire season with those rosters and then taking over my team when the offseason begins and making realistic signings based on what the team will likely do, The problem I'm encountering is unrealistic salaries. For intsance Aaron Rowand is asking for 2.5/yr Erik Beddard 5.1/Is there anyway to create a more realistic ecomomics in the game.

Nah, check out contract.csv, tripe the values and you have the dollar amount that it would cost to get a player.
maybe you should find some time sucka instead of taking pictures of yourself as you sleep

A-Rod costs 22mil in my game. Manny Ramirez is at 18, and Vlad Guerrero is at 13.

Are you playing 07 mod? Same question to northpaw. I'm curious, because I seem to remember editing contract.csv for the progress.big that ended up being in the mod.

Well he may have had a good season, but the way the game assesses his value is based on how many stars he has, like a 1 star player demands very little, and if I remember right, he's a 3 star player, so that makes sense for about how much he asked for.

ron, not true.

He should be paid double that amount in the today's market. Even in last year's market.

He is expected to sign for 9-12 million a year this year. He is a 3 star player in real life IMO, and so the game -rowand at 3.5 million is too little.

I personally fixthis on the back end using ty wiggins' program. I take note which free agetns are up for signings in the off season, and mark down what I think they SHOULD get paid, and then after the off season is over, I check their pay and make them get paid more.
