venn177
I've had this game for like a month, and I have always had realistic outcomes in most of my games, but even with my power slider at a full 50 I (in a total of 13 games with the DevilRays) hit 1 homerun, and one was stolen from me. This includes my edited Pena to make him as strong as Ortiz, which he sure has proved lately So my question is; why can't I hit ANY homeruns? venn177
I'm bumping this because I'm still having the problem, now that I bought a gamepad and got back into the game.
Yankee4Life
Ok, couple of things right off the bat. 1. Don't bump, because some of these people don't like it. Especially some guy named Yankee4Life. 2. I got to ask, are you a priest? 3. Now, to answer your question. You said you had the game for about a month. You're still learning! It takes time to hit the ball. I suggest try rookie mode first, use the batting practice mode a lot and keep trying. Best of luck! Welcome to the site. Yankee4Life
Hey, you see where I said don't bump? IGNORE THAT. I didn't see the date of your original post. Very sorry.
venn177
Yeah, normally I don't bump topics, but it seemed better to just bump a topic that already had the information I needed in it, rather than make a new topic altogether. Thanks for understanding. Also, no, I'm not a priest, it's a long-running joke from a game I used to play. I'll continue to practice, hopefully getting hits soon. You didn't bump anything. Just keep practicing. I remember when I first started I couldn't hit homers for nothing. Then you get used to it. venn177
So I take it it's all about timing? Bah, something just messed up my computer, have to reinstall EVERYTHING now D= Oh well, if it's all timing I'll get used to it, thanks. Off to install every mod on here, once again. xiberger
You could always modify the hitting/power lines in your datafile. I did that and it worked wonders for me.

But keep practicing, and you will be just like A-Rod. :wtg: Just a little advice, use the hitter's eye to improve your hitting.Try to pull and to go to the other way. With good batters i suggest you to try to swing for the fences.
