redsox
I was watching some matches on YouTube and came up on the Stone Cold vs. Eric Bishoff match at No Way Out. And ovation he got was truly unbelievable. I just cannot think of another instance where a wrestler got this much of an ovation as Austin did. BigRog
Sting, Starcade 97, He beats Hollywood Hogan for the WHC. Whole arena gives him a 15 minute ovation and the WCW locker room comes out and hoists him on there shoulder. 10x better then the Austin vs Bitchoff ovation. There is no such thing as too much appreciation for WCW. The memories that WCW left behind are absolutely priceless, never to be forgotten. Sting was definitely the apex of professional wrestling. You cannot top what he and the WCW did in that incredible run.
BigRog
Put it this way, The storylines from WCW are better then what WWE is putting out now.
seanzarelli
I'd have to say the ovation Mick Foley got after his 1998 King of the Ring Hell in the Cell match against The Undertaker ranks high up there.

meteamo
I just read the following. Not sure if it's true or not but if it does happen, things may get interesting. According to several gossip websites rapper Fat Joe and his gang are looking to take their beef with 50 cent to another stage. To be more specific, the Wrestlesmania 24 stage. Word going around town is that Fat Joe and a group of his pals are going to buy front row tickets to Wrestlemania and confront 50 as he stands ringside during Floyd Mayweather Jr's match with The Big Show. But, I wouldn't be surprised if 50 and Fat Joe are just doing another "story line".

seanzarelli
The rumor is fake. It was written by the same site that said Eminem has been training to become a pro-wrestler.
meteamo
lol eminem, ok @ fake ... thx I would have preferred to see the Big Show in a match with the Great Kahlil opposed to with Floyd the money.
seanzarelli
Oh yeah, either order or download the Ring of Honor PPV that debuted last night. It was called Rising Above, and let me tell you, it was fanfuckingtastic.

No wonder he lost to Jericho. Usually since the brand extension they don't like to change titles during TV shows

Mav3rek
he's probably not coming back either. lately WWE has been extremely harsh with the abuse policy and after the suspensions are over, the wrestlers are usually released.

seanzarelli
Everyone, put Jeff Hardy in your prayers. Sure he may have screwed up and got suspended for 60 days, but last night (Friday), his house burned down and he lost everything including his dog.
