DJEagles
same thread, different year. What's the Christmas/Holiday show you are most looking forward too? Mine are: Charlie Brown's Christmas National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation A Christmas Story A Christmas Carol: The Alister Sim version Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Charlie Brown's on ABC tomorrow night, so I am looking forward to that. My wife thinks I am nuts.
GoRedSox34
A Christmas Story. It's a tradition for my family and I to watch it every Christmas Eve. Last year the movie ended at exactly 12 AM!
Mav3rek
I've already watched A Christmas Story 3 times, and Christmas Vacation twice. I'm looking forward to the Grinch, and 24 hours of a Christmas Story. Rudolph is another fav, but I like the others better.
NYM
I always watch A Christmas Story at least twice on that 24 hour marathon. I love that movie.
BigRog
I've never seen a christmas story.
tebjr
I've never seen a christmas story. Just watch TBS on Christmas Eve Rog. They'll show 24 hours of that damn movie.
fred13
i hate TBS for that. A Christmas Story was good the first few times I watched it, but TBS ruined it for me. I've already watched Home Alone 1/2 and ELF. I watch pretty much every christmas related movie as we get nearer though. (including Die Hard). maxbjr
I'll watch the same stuff everyone else here watches, A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown's Christmas, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, etc. But one show I'll watch is Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol. It's on TBS and Cartoon network during the week up to Christmas. It's on other stations also, but I'm not sure when or where. It's actually very well done and closer to Dicken's book than most other versions are.

Yankee4Life
I have to second what maxbjr said about Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol. It is sometimes hard to find on TV, but it is really well done. I will be watching that. Among others: A Christmas Carol (just about any version that I am able to see. But as DJ said, the Alister Sim one is the one to watch) White Christmas. ( I am tired of watching this but I will end of up having to) It's a Wonderful Life (See reason above) Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer (What the hell, I watch it. Brings back memories of being a kid. I remember when watching it as a kid my sister was afraid of the Abominable Snow Monster.) Christmas Story (And I will only watch it once during the 24 hour marathon) Santa Claus is coming to town (narrated by Fred Astair)

AstroEric
I'll second the following: A Christmas Story (I also like the sort-of sequel Ollie Hopnoodle's) Charlie Brown Christmas (was predicted to flop by the network) Christmas Vacation (Mister, if I had a rubber hose, I would beat you!) Mr. Magoo (I agree on the truest-to-Dickens note, with the exception of:) The Alastair Sim Christmas Carol Rudolph (Love claymation!) And add: Love Actually (worth it for Bill Nighy) The animated Grinch with Boris Karloff narrating Whichever Rankin/Bass has the Heat-Miser and the Cold-Miser The Disney Christmas Carol (With Ebeneezer Scrooge McDuck) --E-rock
