Sean Taylor RIP....

Horrible, RIP. Looked like a hit job.

Atleast thankfully his GF and child weren't hurt.

Maybe it was a hit job. Maybe that's why the GF and child weren't harmed. This will be another case to go unsolved.

i think if it were a hit, his wife would have been shot too, cause she would have been a witness.

RIP.

The wife is the one who probably ordered the hit. Insurance, maybe he was worth more dead than alive.

I don't like football and so I wasn't familiar with him as a player, but that doesn't make a single difference - still very tragic when a death like this happens. Two innocent sports deaths in about a week, really a shame...

I am so tired of this kind of b/s happening.

What is going on in the world, and in the NFL in particular?

It seems like every week there's another marquis player involved with guns, drugs, and assorted violence.

The NFL needs to re-examine itself. ASAP.

As for Sean Taylor: Rest in Peace.

I hate to kinda turn this thread that way, but her explanation of the event (She put her blanket over her head and couldn't see the murderer) is rather...well, yeah. Deffinatly fishy.

I don't like conspiracy theories, and to put the kibosh on this one, who the heck shoots someone in the leg when they wanna put a hit on them. He got lucky (relatively, if it was a hit) and hit his artery.

Exactly. In fact, whoever shot him apparently knows their law at least reasonably well.

I say this because, generally speaking, if a robbery goes bad, and the suspect shoots a victim, and the victim LIVES, one of two things can happen:

Shot above the waist: Attempted murder.

Shot below the waist: Assault/Battery with a deadly weapon.

...but since Sean Taylor DIED, if this suspect is caught, it will be murder (of course) no matter what.

You know, this isn't like movies where hitman are amazing being who can shoot anyone in the head/heart easily.

I hate conspiracy theories, and I don't think this is a conspiracy theory. Fact remains the whole deal with his wife is extremely suspicious.

Could've been some young unprofessional punk, got nervous when he seen him with the knife and just shot and ran.

"He added authorities had more than one confession but would not elaborate."

Good that they found the killers, expecially this fast. I mean, they never even ended up finding Darrent Williams's killers did they? I'm also relieved that it was a burglary and not a hit by his wife or something.

Where he got shot shows that it wasn't the intent of the thugs to kill him. An inch to the left or right and Sean Taylor would probably be back in his bed resting gunshot wounds. If someone was aiming to kill, it probably wouldve been at least above the waist.
