Skittles12
TheBIGS isnt the best game. You cannot do dynasties, or anything. You have to do Rookie Challange where you create a rookie, and when you start out YOUr ROOKIE SUCKS! You need to earn points in games. Say when you have 1000 points, you can buy a Contact star, so your contact would be a tiny bit better. Also, the rosters are screwed up, and everything else. Besides that, its preety fun
redsox
get the arcade package, buy a used 20GB HD off of ebay ($40-50), swap out a new 120 drive ($70) 279+40+70=$389 the Elite Xbox runs $450, only thing missing will be the head set but you are picking up a 256 MB memory card But Kraw, I just don't feel comfortable buying used items; especially used electronic items that I don't know a whole lot about. The thing is, I would most definitely consider your method if I had at least some in-depth knowledge about XBOX 360, but to be honest, I don't. Also, is 20GB HD not enough? Is it better for me to upgrade to a higher capacity HD; and if so what is the need for that? Also, how much memory does one saved game take up in that HD? I would guess it would not be a whole lot. BigRog
a bigger HD is good if your downloading a **** load of movies. you can get away with a 20 as long as your not dl a whole bunch of stuff and keeping it on there. I have about 10 games (each one having about 2 or 3 saved game files on my hd) and i don't even have 1 gb worth of game saves.
pujols
Unless you download the XBOX Original games that come out Dec. 4th, you should be fine with a 20GB.

I will just stick with the 20GB HD as I don't see myself downloading a lot of movies.
redsox
For all of you MLB 07: The Show enthusiasts, can you tell me how frequently the created players (in the Road to The Show feature) get traded? I have been playing this game for about a week now and I am really enjoying it. Having a hard time walking but apart from that its been very entertaining. redsox
Just got XBOX 360 Elite and started playing Assassin's Creed. My goodness is that a beautiful game. I only played for about 30 minutes and I still need to get a handle on the controls, but apart from that I am very glad that I got this as my birthday present. I think the next game on my wish list would either be Oblivion or one of the Rainbow Six/Ghost Recon/Splinter Cell games (not sure which one). I haven't played Assassin's Creed, but you should get some other popular games like Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4. Glad you're enjoying the 360 though. :)

Your guy has to be on a team on where the position you play is deep in fielders. You notice some signs of a possible trade is when you play less frequently, and the manager doesnt like you. I got traded to the DBacks from the Mets, even though i was contributing. Wierd
redsox
Just got done playing Assassin's Creed, and it was nothing short of spectacular. But I hated the ending! I just wish they had done a better job at it; but up until then it was truly remarkable. Also, I am hoping that someone can explain the ending to me and see if there is actually anything else left to do. * SMALL SPOILER ALERT * : : : : : : : : : : I have used my Eagle Vision to read the writings in the bedroom and all over the halls, but is that all? Is there not an epilogue that shows what Altair did with the treasure? I was told that there is an epilogue and you get to see the steps Altair took afterwards. I read his journal entry of sorts where he talks about the Saracens and the Crusaders and hoping that their leaders would stop the war and bring peace to the holy land. I wish there was a small clip that shows the next few steps of Altair.
redsox
Can anyone who owns/owned Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 AND 2008 tell me what has improved in the season mode version between those two? I had recently got SVR 2007 and I am having fun with the season mode, my only wish is that there were even more storylines to go along with. Also, how good is SVR 2008 in regards to season mode? Thanks.

I completed the game. Its one of the best games I have played (PC or console). The only thing I regret about it is that the gameplay didn't last very long; took me about roughly 2-3 weeks to beat the game. Though I missed out on most of the side missions - for example templar assassinations, collecting all the flags, etc... for which I am going back to finish those. Right after my assassinations, I immediately get to the roof tops and make me way around. Also, I love how the music fits the scenario that you are in. They did an exceptional job in that regard I think. The gameplay has improved a lot, but the 24/7 mode is not that good. It's a decent game afterall. Could you explain a little more in regards to the gameplay? Also in the season mode, is it longer now than it was in 2007 or is it about the same? BigRog
there is no targeting system in the game, atleast you can't change who your looking at yourself. the computer has to do it for you. Xbox version is the best to go with because there coming out with an update to the North American Version (only) that will change the targeting system and update the roster. redsox
I have settled into playing MLB 2k7 on the 360 and one of the few things I dislike is the inability to check your swing. Is there a particular button I can press to just check my swing or its just a matter of me having to time it right in such a way that I don't swing through? Fielding is a truly an experience for me but I have to say that the overall presentation is really good.
Sidewinder
First of all for MLB 2k7, make sure you download the Montreal classic stadium as there is an official patch built into it. It is a free download at XBox Live Marketplace. It will give you a new fielding view as well as just enhance gameplay for the better. Fielding works much better after the patch for me. Checkswing is just broken in this game. I have used Button-swing and once in a great while it will work. I regularly use Swing-Stick now for Off-line play and check swing is non-existent. The other gameplay problem I have is climbing the fences to steal a HR. I have yet to be able to do it, even when the help screen option is turned on and it tells me to do it. It just doesnt seem to work. To make gameplay play much more realistic, turn down the fielder speed and infield/outfielder arm strength Sliders. This will make for more realistic outcomes with gameplay, such as the AI wont steal HRs all the time and standard extra base hits will happen when they should. I am very picky when it comes to gameplay. GM stuff isnt a big deal to me, but on the field gameplay is and 2k7 gives me a great game, with those few exceptions. Like with any baseball game, Walks will always be way too low. I used to use the Classic swing button to bat, but the game became much better when I switched over to the Swing Stick. Check it out. Recently, it seems online play has gotten better too. Lag has gotten smoother, which really helps with batting as it is less a guessing game when to swing now. Online play defaults to using Classic swing button. I believe 2K has put out little patches the last 6 months without any fanfare, as I have seen gameplay improve. Also, the stadium ads change every so often too. I am really looking forward to 2k8. Hopefully, the major broken issues will be fixed for good. I have been using the classic swing option up until now and now that you have you mentioned it, I may give the swing-stick option a try. And I have been playing around with the sliders ever since I got this game to provide me with a realistic gameplay - I must have played about 20-25 exhibition games to get the feel just right and I think I have some what generated a realistic baseball experience. Thanks again for all the information. Take care.
redsox
Who in here owns The Bigs for 360 and would recommend it to others? I am looking for a baseball game that would allow me to take control of just one player and see him through to the major leagues. Since I have a 360 and can't play The Show, what do you guys feel about The Bigs?
