Dan
Note: I gave up trying to find a Madden 2008 thread on this site. The search didn't help me too much. Can I have it confirmed that you can or cannot call audibles before set on the line of scrimmage in Madden 2008? I'm getting a 360 soon but haven't had a chance to play '08 on it yet. For instance, on a hurry-up, do all your players have to be set before an audible is called? While there seem to be some nice things added to '08 this year, especially on the animation side, EA needs to rework the audible system. I personally like the hurry-up, but it's no fun when you can only pick from about five plays. In one-player mode, while lining up after the play, you should be able to quickly scroll through a list of plays in your playbook and have their setups shown on the field, just like the play art feature before the snap. In two-player mode, you can turn the play art on or off. The fact that you have to go into settings every time you want to change audibles is plain stupid. Does this seem like a reasonable solution? Is there any way to notify EA of this suggestion?
philliesphan18
Like EA would take heed of the suggestion! -- But really, that is a good idea. I like that system a lot better.
