Pirate
Led Zeppelin, followed closesly by Radiohead and R.E.M. If only I would have been selected for tickets to yesterday's Zeppelin show. I already told my wife that I will find my way to a show if they tour no matter the cost. I saw Page and Plant in 1999 and that was amazing, but the three plus Bonam's son would be perfect. ACDC is great saw them in concert a few years ago and they rocked out. Lots of nude 40-year-old ladies at that show. DMB used to be great but no band is recycled more than them. I've seen them live twice and both were amazing, but their new stuff is less than desirable.

I only started listening to them about a year and a half ago, but I definitely like their stuff from the 90's more.
DoubleD
Lately I've been rocking it to Toe http://www.myspace.com/toemusic Since it's basically all instrumental, it makes awesome background music for reading and such. Other than that I can't really list a "favorite" because I listen to an extremely wide variety of stuff. From oldschool rock like the beatles, old prog like Floyd, new prog like Anathema, to indie like Metric, experimental like Radiohead, anything Maynard does, whatever the hell you'd classify Mindless Self Indulgence as, some rap and country but not much, mostly stuff like Outkast/Johnny Cash. Really the only things I don't listen to is most metal (some metal, like Tool, is awesome. But most is trash).

abc006
I absoloutely hate AC/DC and Led Zeppelin, especially AC/DC. Zeppelin is just annoying and extremely overrated, but I can't stand AC/DC. Anyway, favorites for me, pretty much most rock of the late 60s, but especially Jimi Hendrix, flat-out. After that, probably The Beatles, The Who, (early) Santana and (early) Clapton (in other words, pre mid-70s-ish), Velvet Underground, Talking Heads, The Clash, They Might Be Giants... etc. Of course, if you're talking about not only pop, you'd also have to throw in Coltrane, Miles, and Mingus in there too. mostly stuff like Outkast/Johnny Cash.Has Outkast and Johnny Cash ever been in a slashed together like that? Have you read the news in the last month. No band other than the Beatles has been more eagerly anticiapted to reunite than them.

Have you read the news in the last month. No band other than the Beatles has been more eagerly anticiapted to reunite than them. That's my opinion, I said I just don't like them - I think they aren't nearly as good as people make them out to be, in other words, overrated. I wasn't stating it like a fact. I realize that they are probably the second most popular band in the history of rock'n'roll, that doesn't suddenly mean that I don't think they're not as good as most people think they are. To blatantly say my opinion is wrong is far more ignorant.
