there is a guy on ebay. he makes custom 360 coolers. it's like a pad that sits on the bottom and sucks out hot air. they make similar things for laptops. i got one for mine, keeps it nice and cool and when used with a powered usb adapter it doesn't suck any energy from the 360 like that crap over the counter nyko cooler.

take a look:

i had a console that kicked, but things have been great since i started using this one (knock on wood).

i talked to the guy, he also STRONGLY suggests using an externally powered usb for things like the guitar hero controller. he claims that has caused many "rings of death".

hope this helps!!

One person has a problem = 5 people have a problem.

Five people have a problem =100 people have a problem

100 = 10000

and so on

*KC you better realize I'm just joking over this whole matter or I might just have to opt out of my contract to be in your entourage.*

Then trade me to Kraw's.

getting back on topic though, any issues i've heard of about playstation 3 are from someone else's experience, seeing as i have never had one. My friends have had issues but i was never there to witness them.

For those of you with return warrantys and the like, try to find a Falcon chipset as those are the newer model 360s. The newer models produce less heat and use less electricity due to a 65nm processor compared to the 90nm at launch...

http://forums.xbox.com/15804553/ShowPost.aspx shows you how to find a 65nm console without opening the box
