slomo76
Hey i've recently been creating cyberfaces for my NHL07 and i thought this coming baseball season i might try my hand at creating a few faces for baseball players. I know in order to import into NHL u need fshX, and BIGGUI. I wondered if it's the same for MVP. Also, where would i get my hands on the .fsh and .ebo files for the players in MVP? Any help would be great...thanx in advance. here's a few previews of the faces i've done for NHL... Eric Brewer of the St.Louis Blues Ken Klee of the Atlanta Thrashers Andrew Ladd of the Carolina Hurricanes

BigRog
look for homers cyberface tutorial. Its explains everything you will need. Cyberface making for MVP is slightly different then NHL. For MVP you need the .fsh, .ord, .orl and maybe another im not sure

I'm anxious and excited to see what i can do for some major leaguers :)

rolie
yeah I started making some kings faces but I couldn't blend for the life of me. I'm not trying to kiss your ***, but I'm rarely amazed. Welcome to have you here! The two main differences in MVP faces are the image size and the 3d modeling. The image size is scaled much smaller in the width compared to 08. You also have more freedom to mess with the 3d files directly unlike nhl08.

arossi12
Hey, your work at NHLDepot is really good man, glad to see you giving these faces a shot.
Homer
wow that's some great work! though i'm not a fan of some of the blurry parts of the textures. that's just my personal opinion of course. i feel like in mvp, those parts will look way too blurred in game. but glad to see you here and giving it a shot. would love to know about any tips and such you could offer also. particularly this "best CF" guy you're referring to. anyhow, i hope the tutorial's helping a lot of you guys out. feel free to post questions in my thread and such. slomo76
Hey Homer, The guy i was referring to as being the best CF maker is someone whom i personally think is the best...that's all. Nothing personal mate ;)
Homer
no worries, i didn't mean anything by that at all either. i was just curious if he was a member here because maybe we could learn something from him. that's all.
slomo76
oh ok...sorry misinterpreted your post :/ As far as i know he's not a member here. He's Brad26 over at NHLDepot. have a look at his preview thread if you wanna see some serious textures. With my textures, i've tried to emulate his style and "look" You'll see by his work that i still have some work to do :p
Homer
wow! that's pretty cool. looks like you've mastered his blending techniques. i'm intrigued on what tips you guys can offer. the blending is absolutely flawless.
slomo76
hey Homer...where can i get my hands on the base models of the players? With the NHL guys there is a .rar file that you can download that has all the players faces made by EA all in .bmp format. Anything like that for MVP? if so i'm gonna need that first so i can try and find a match for any of the players i will make. Was thinking of possibly working on a player this weekend. BigPaPa
you should take a look at homer tutorial. Theres not a Download of them per say but they are all contained in your models.big file. itll say something like c###.fsh c###.ord c###.orl for the .fsh files you prolly know what to do. for the .ord .orl files your gonna need a set of batch files to convert them to a single .O file that can be opened in Oedit. if you have the 07 mod there is an spreadsheet file in the extras folder that gives you the correct number for each player face. If not this can be obtained through Mvp Edit or various other programs contained in the Download Section of this site
Homer
there really isn't anything like that anymore. there once was a mod that contained all the default cyberfaces in 2x but that's been long removed. the best bet would be to ask about one at a time. ask krawhitham over at eamods if he'd want to give one to you. or like bibpapa said, look in the 07 mod. and i'm sure you're aware, but just like any other mod, just make sure to ask permission if you use someone else's work. otherwise, follow the instructions i have in the tutorial. there's a link in there for a mod that previews all the default faces for you so you kinda know what shapes and skin tones you're dealing with. and i do have this list. i just copied and pasted it from a thread here somewhere. not even sure where, so i can't give credit. i've made edits to it as i've gone alone. it'll give you an idea about the default faces. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZY0CNS32
slomo76
Hey homer (or anyone else for that matter ), any chance u could do something HUGE for me? if you had a model in mind for any particular player, do think u could send it to me and let me have a shot at making a face? i know it's a kinda strange request, but i would like to try my hand at this. If you're not big on the idea, that's cool...just thought i'd ask ;)
