Kccitystar
So, what does MVPMods think about the Mayan calendar restarting/ending in exactly 5 years? I mean, it accurately predicted eclipses thousands of years into the future, the arrival of the Spaniards conquistadors, etc etc...will the world really fall into chaos/mass destruction/enlightenment/whatever 5 years from now? Here's an interesting documentary on the matter. I'm actually nervous, now that it seems somehow backed up scientifically. part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxQsLLOYC7Q part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT4hrd6To2k Part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb8DUJFw70g So, what are MVPMods' thoughts? KillerBs
On one hand, people have been predicting the end of the world since, well, the beginning of the world. On the other, I'm not sure that anything like this has ever happened. The Mayan calendar is extremely sophisticated.

GEOLINK
i rather not even bother with those "theorys". those are just made to scare people, I hate it when people talk about Global Warning and the earth plates, etc. I just get reminded on how stupid scientists/people looked when they said the earth was going to end in the year 2000. KillerBs
Fear not my brothers, for the twenty-first of December of the year two thousand twelve will never happen! David Koresh will return to Earth finally in March of 2012. This according to Wikipedia, the infallible source of all true prophecies.

JoeRudi26
I remember this happening not so long ago too. The world was 'supposed to end' on December 3rd (at 4:56 pm) by a Global earthquake that measured 7.8 on the richter scale, in the year '90. If you read 'between the lines' on the date, time, measurement on the richter scale, and the year, it was obviously some sort of hoax/riddle, that of which was being talked about by alot of people, but something I never took too seriously. I can't even remember what 'source' was being used at the time, if there really even was one. Some of you may remember this, most will probably not. SESbb30
ill not worry about it, just like i did for y2k, but somehow something in the back of my mind says this is different and i should be scared. but my conscious says its just something to scare faith into people.
