Mauer4MVP
I am new to here. I love MVP 2005. While it doesn't have the best graphics or gameplay it still just gives a great baseball feel. I want to get a copy so I can use these mods. Is ebay really the only place you can find them other than them randomly being at a store? I bought a pc version in 2006 but sold it because with my bad pc it wasn't worth it. Now it's 60 bucks on ebay. Is it really worth it?
SESbb30
ebay or any other online store like that, looking in stores is like looking for a needle in a haystack the size of the sun. lol. and to me, 60 bucks was well worth it, but thats a personal opinion. it might not be right for some people. you just have to ask youreself, is it really worth it to spend that money on this game? wrigleyville33
and if you want to update stadiums you need a mod chip.
johnymvp
I don't really want to put a mod chip in my 360, sounds too risky. How much is that action replay device cost?
wrigleyville33
oooo... have you played it on your 360 yet? tell me if it works on yours or not. and i dont think you can use action replay on the 360 only the original xbox
johnymvp
I'm out of town so I can't check yet unfortunately..I hear it's backwards compatiable but not working yet.. someoen said earlier they called xbox.com and they are working on the fix it. well if mine doesn't work, and whenever it does, i won't play unless i can get new rosters.. I wonder if its possible on

johnymvp
If and when MVP 2005 works on the 360 YES you can do roster saves on it Is that going to be another 50 dollar hook up box I have to buy?
krawhitham
pretty much, there are free options just like the 1st xbox had With the 1st xbox you could make a USB cord for the controller (put the memory card in the controller) then use the AR software With the 360 you can buy a device that hooks up to the HDD or you can take the HDD apart and hook it up to a PC

wrigleyville33
hey kraw couldnt you just save rosters to your flash drive and plug in into your 360 and upload the roster from there?
krawhitham
don't think so, never tried. But MS' stance is they do not allow xbox 1 saves to be transfered to the
Mauer4MVP
Well I went on a little MVP 05 hunt yesterday while doing some day after christmas day shopping. Went into about 7 stores and you guys obviously know the result. No luck. What made it hurt even more was seeing FIFA 2005 for pc, lol. I remember seeing it at a gamestop a couple weeks ago but I can't remember where.
IceDrake523
Your best bet is eBay. Be warned though, you'll be paying a hefty bounty. I paid $86 for mine. My advice: look for one on eBay. When it's 30 seconds or less left, bid the highest possible amount you're willing to spend on it. For example, when I bid on mine, it was at $71. I bid $100 and ended up winning it for $78. You can also try Amazon. Less hassle without the bidding. I saw some going for around $90-$100 with $4 s/h. I checked a couple days ago and there was only one which was $120. If they're that high, just try eBay. Good luck
