Kccitystar
Just wanted to get something out of the way, how many of you use Windows Vista for MVP Baseball? How many of you use Windows XP? Note, this is not a debate thread, this is just a poll for some research. Thanks.

Sean O
I just don't see any benefit to using Vista compared to XP at this point. It's not part of the everyday experience, but oedit still has its uses, which completely cuts out Vista. I'm also having some sort of weird MVP 07 issue on my Vista computer that I've never had with XP. XP's rock solid at this point, while Vista has another year to go. Just like I stayed with the execrable Windows ME because XP couldn't run anything when it came out.
ixcuincle
Vista lags if you don't have more than 512 MB of RAM...I open 3 programs or folders at a time on the taskbar in Vista and it's a lag storm. Compared to my old XP laptop , Vista is much laggier and runs none of the games the ol' XP did. So Vista "FTL" :(
cheezer
Xp is better for mvp.
BigPaPa
I like vista though ive had to fight with it several times to get some hardware and software up and running. Vista is a great step toward a better version of Windows its just not all their yet but with a little tweaking and some time 9 time out of ten i have got the programs and hardware i want running correctly. Vista is also much more secure than XP ever was and turning off all the bells an whistles aka the 3d menus, the little plugins, and such it never lags. As for MVP i find MVP runs as good and prolly better on my Vista computer than my XP one. From a user friendlinesses standpoint vista sucks but their are several unseen improvements that are not yet smoothed into a nice user friendly package yet. MarkB
I run MVP on my Vista laptop with 2GB of RAM with no issues as well as on my desktop with 512MB of RAM using XP. From what I've seen, Vista's performance is serviceable as long as you have over 1GB of RAM. If you've got 512MB, you're in trouble from the start.
