NYM
I thought this would be a pretty cool idea. How about a thread listing all the places one should visit in a lifetime. It could be anything. A historic landmark, a historic stadium, a city, anything. I'll start it: New York City Empire State Building Madison Square Garden Chicago Wrigley Field Fenway Park Roman Collisium (spelt that wrong) Tigres and Euprates rivers (you won't see these unless your in the military at this point though) So, what else? I'll keep adding.
DJEagles
The Bay Of Fundy in Saint John, N.B., Canada. Highest tides in the world....it is a beautiful site to behold.
Yankee4Life
The Bay Of Fundy in Saint John, N.B., Canada. Highest tides in the world....it is a beautiful site to behold. Forget it. It's too cold up there. I hear in July it warms up to 40 degrees. At least that's what I heard.
DJEagles
We hit about 80-90 degrees in the summer. It's a nice warm summer up here. The igloos have long since melted, and the seal fur coats are replaced by shorts, and tacky Hawaii shirts.
RaysFTW
Maybe the Pyramids at Giza or Cairo?
abc006
New York City (The whole city, not just the big tourist stuff.) Venice Paris The old city in Jerusalem Any relatively small town in India (Or anywhere in India, for that matter. Throw in the Taj Mahal here too.) One amazing museum (i.e. The Met in New York or the Louvre) One great sporting facility (Yankee Stadium, Fenway, MSG, some famous futbol stadium I'm unaware of, etc.) A sushi restaraunt in Japan (All the things above this I have done, but this and everything below I have yet to do. I imagine sushi there is better than here.) The pyramids in Egypt The grand canyon Stonehenge A legendary rock concert
Yankee4Life
I am kind of surprised that no one has mentioned Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. I can still find my way around that place because I was there so long. And yes, I do regret not being there.
fred13
Back in 2005, I went to South Africa on a safari, and I got to be honest, that was one adventure I will never forget. Its an unbelievable experience. I think Canada as a whole is also something that should be seen. You can take these cross-country train trips. Its really cool to see just how vastly different the cultures are and how quickly they change depending on where you are. Plus the landscape all across the country is legendary (except maybe parts of the prairies )

scotty2hotty
I'm obviously biased, but I'd say Banff National Park in Banff, Alberta, Canada. It really is an unbelieveable place. And just as nice during the summer, so you nancy boys from the States dont get too cold.

I totally agree I have some amazing pictures of my 3 trips to Gatlinburg. EDIT: Tennessee Totte. Maybe they stretch to NC I'm not sure. They are part of the Appalachian (sp?) Mountain Range.
