ksig24
I just got my fresh new copy of the game and I am installing now. I am stuck at 65% and am getting this error message. A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'F:datastadiumaa02nite.big' from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file or cancel the installation. Can someone help me out? YankeexDev
Try cleaning your disk off and try reinstalling. That happened to me a while ago and it worked.

ksig24
I just tried that and it worked to 66% and it stopped again. Is there a good way to clean the disk other than using soft cloth?

BigRog
don't double post, it doesn't look good and is horrible forum etiquette. As for the disk, get a disk doctor.
ksig24
So now you are going to be rude to me considering I called you out. Nice. All I want is help.
evil1182
You could make your own disc doctor cleaner. 50% distilled water and 50% isopropyl alcohol. You could make this within an hour.

madman0114
try coping the entire disc to a folder on your hard drive then try installing from the folder. this works for me most of the time when i get a error on install. good luck.

madman0114
right click on the CD ROM drive under my computer. click on explore it should show you all the files on the disc. click on edit at the top of your screen click select all. then click copy. now right click on your desk top select new then folder this will create a new folder on your deck top. open new folder then click on edit at the top of the screen and click paste. that should do it. ksig24
Do I replace all the files when it asks me to replace? Yes to all?
madman0114
hmmm. good question. well you've got nothing to lose by replacing the files worst comes to worst you just delete the folder if it doesnt work.
ksig24
Yea, I already tried that and it didnt work. I just bought another game so this will be two games in a week since I found this site. My original game is ancient and didnt work, the one I bought a few days ago is scratched, and hopefully the next one will be fine and allow me to install and play. redsox
hmmm. good question. well you've got nothing to lose by replacing the files worst comes to worst you just delete the folder if it doesnt work. How are you able to find this game so frequently? I have read threads where people were searching for months and still couldn't find the game in any store - (let alone eBay where its being sold for a fortune). In regards to your problem - what are your comp. specs? When you try to copy all the data from the CD onto your hard drive, were you able to do it without any problem? I take it you don't have any images mounted?
