parkie
I've been trying to get my mvp07 installation to work with vista 64 bit version and it works great apart from it won't see my saved games, profile and control.cfg files. I've copied them over from my normal vista installation they are in the correct directory (user/documents/MVP Baseball 2007) but when I play my saved dynasty it goes to the beginning of the 07 season and all the controls are different. Is there something I'm doing wrong, is there a permissions problem or something? please help, I'd like to move over to the 64bit OS but the only thing stopping me is MVP, I simply have to have this game working. p
MarkB
Sounds as if they may be in the wrong directory, or, for some reason, they're not being read. I know you said they're in the correct directory, so try doing a local search of your hard drive for the controller.cfg and see if the same file names show up anywhere else. If they do, try copying your files to that folder and see if that helps.

parkie
tried to search and there are only the files I have put in user/documents etc etc. The strangest thing is that I can see my saved dynasty from within the game in the load dynasty window but it's like it ignores it and goes back to the beginning of that season. p
MarkB
In that case, I have no idea. How far into your dynasty are you? Try creating a new dynasty, sim to June or something, save it, close MVP, then start it again and see if it recognises it or if it takes you back to April.
