brutushayesosu
congrats. Too many OSU dumb penalties to overcome and the LSU O-line certainly did their job. At least OSU showed some signs of life as opposed to last year. How many days til pitchers and catchers report?
wrigleyville33
yeah lsu was definitely the better team in this one. now thats 2 sec national titles in a row... but i wonder how lsu with rank up next year.
BigPaPa
i think it had more to do with the fact that OSU is ovverrated and never had a chance.
NYM
I didn't even watch it. I hate college football because it's unfair.

NYM
There's no playoffs. The BCS Standings are fair, but the whole no playoff thing makes it seem unfair to other teams.
kgbaseball
Alright, that's fair. I thought you were going to go on some ridiculous rant about how the clock stops after every first down, and yada yada.

kgbaseball
I'd have to say LSU is the early favorite to win the SEC, followed by Georgia.
DoubleD
There's no playoffs. The BCS Standings are fair, but the whole no playoff thing makes it seem unfair to other teams. I don't see how it's "unfair." Have a good OOC schedule and win your games. Teams that lose have no reason to cry about not getting to the national title game. Would I rather see a playoff? Yes. Do I think it would be better suited to crown the best team? Yep. However 1) it's not goinig to stop teams from crying about being left out (See: NCAA Basketball tournament. 65 teams and teams STILL cry about not making it) 2) it doesn't make the current format "unfair." Don't lose, it's that simple.
DoubleD
I'd have to say LSU is the early favorite to win the SEC, followed by Georgia. I have a feeling UF will be the top ranked SEC team going into the year in the polls, due to the presses love afair with Tebow. How we were ranked so high throughout the season I have no idea, outside ofcoarse of their love affair for us. But hey, I'm not b'tching, I love it

wrigleyville33
heres what you do to solve the bcs debate... make a championship game for every conference... then take the winners of each conference in a playoff... there for you can still keep the other bowls for the non conference winners. bigbully
Here I am five! Just back in town from New Orleans! Had to shell out $1100 for tickets but well worth it! How 'bout them Tigers! LSU definately has some holes to fill but is still top 10 in recruiting every year. Right now most "experts" don't even have them in the early, preseason top 5 (which I like). stecropper
Hey Bigbully, I am still recovering and thank God I can type because I have no voice to communicate with otherwise ....... My tickets were $1150-$1250 a piece as I had to get 3 of them for me and my 2 younger sons ........... but am I glad I did !!! Georgia will be the top rated SEC Team next year and likely Florida as the 2nd highest ...... I think LSU may be in the low teens or so in the beginning but will surprise a heck of a lot of people as they will be in the running for it all again when it is all said and done ...... sfgiantsflgators
Good win LSU - way to keep it in the SEC. Should be a hell of a battle in the conference next season with a lot of underclassman talent getting experience across the board this season. Definitely agree that Georgia and Florida will be the highest ranked to start off with so much returning talent between them (more than 60% of the Gators active roster this season was underclassmen.) But as bully pointed out, LSU will be restocking yet again and could easily make another run. Gonna be interesting.
five
Wow!! Man, I don't think I could shell out that kind of money. Crazy stuff.
DoubleD
I only had to pay a few hundred dollars for my tickets for the UF national title game last year. Have connections rock 8) Doubt i would have gone if I had to shell out 1k+ like you guys did...
