2 games, 22 runs scored on 30 hits, only 4 runs allowed, and a total of 9 home runs... You might want to advance to the next difficulty level.

Apart from that, nice dynasty so far. The videos look great.

I once concussed Zito for 85 days with a flat line drive with Ty Wigginton :p. 26 days is very surprising and dang lucky.

Anyway, this dynasty looks very well-organised and with awesome presentation (video clips on a dynasty is always nice). As xiberger said (who just picked up post number 1337 ;)), unless both those games were offensive explosions, maybe a step-up or some slide tuning is needed. But either way good luck!

Yep, to jonthefon and xiberger, I just messed with the sliders to make it much more difficult. Thanks for following guys, Game 3 coming later today.

P.S. If I was to advance to the next difficulty level, that would be MVP. If I still score lots of runs next game (Game 3), then I will move it to MVP difficulty, something I've never done. Thanks for following!

[align=center]TEMPERS FLARE IN BALTIMORE

It was a day game, Game 3 of the Rays and Orioles series. After the last two games, the Rays expected to come out and sweep the series easily. However, something was in the air today for the Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles jumped out to an early lead when outfielder Nick markakis began his offense-filled day with a line drive RBI into the left-center field gap.

Not a very good start for newly acquired SP Matt Garza, who came to Tampa in exchange for controversial young outfielder Delmon Young.

So after a shakey start, the Rays got back up to the plate in the top of the 2nd against southpaw Adam Loewen for Baltimore. Loewen shut down the Rays, allowing only 2 runs and almost getting the complete game.

However, in the 4th inning, tempers began to flare on both sides. After a close call on a double play, Rays manager Joe Maddon ran out to argue with 2nd base umpire Angel Hernandez (known for his many blown calls and horrible logic). Maddon was almsot ejected but B.J. upton had to hold him back.

Not too shortly after, Matt Garza drilled Orioles 2nd Basemen Brian Roberts in the ankle, and Roberts had ahd enough. he charged the mound, clearing both benches.

Ejections Due to the Brawl: Orioles 2B Brian Roberts, Rays SS Jason Bartlett

Not quite sure why Bartlett got tossed, probably just looking out for his boy Garza.

The Orioles head to the Boogie Down Bronx to see how they can handle the Yank-Mee's. J.J. Shields will face off against the steroid-filled Roger Clemens.

Here is the Game 3 Recap

[align=center]RAYS GO TO NY WITH HIGH CONFIDENCE

And that confidence payed off. It was a cold and chilly April night in New York City, as the 2-1 Tampa Bay Rays took on Juiced Clemens and the New York Yank-Mee's. The Rays hoped to get right back in the swing of things, coming off a horrible last game in Baltimore against Adam Loewen. The revenge was started right off the bat as the first batter of the game, the speedy Carl Crawford lined a shot into right-center, making it all the way to third base uncontested. B.J. Upton, Rocco Baldelli, Carlos Pena and Jonny Gomes all knocked singles in the inning, as they brought in 3 runs to start the charge.

Rays SP J.J. Shields was brilliant. Shields knew how to handle the Yankees lineup, as he was seen about a week ago analyzing video down in the Tropicana Field Media Room. Shields was asked before the game how he felt about gonig up against the big bangs from new York, he simply said, " It's all in the mind, anyone can beat the Yankees, the key is to not lose your composure because that New York crowd will eat you for breakfast."

YOu can blame Alex Rodriguez for not being able to come back in to this game for several reasons. In the 6th inning, the Yankees were down by 6 runs, and A-Rod came up with men on 1st and 2nd, nobody out. he lined a grounder to Akinori iwamura who stepped on third for the force and threw to first to nail A-Rod. Shields would eventually get out of the inning, unharmed.

Later in the game, Alex Rodriguez amde a costly error on a slow ground ball, which can be seen here.

Carl Crawford added a double in the 8th inning, which just added to his offensive-filled day, as he lead the Tampa Bay Rays to an 8-3 victory against the Yanks.

A-Rod did not look too happy after the game in the dugout.

[align=center]FLOYD CARRIES THE RAYS ON HIS BACK

It was the Cliff Floyd Show in New York City last night. The second game of a 3 game set between the Tampa Bay Rays and the New York Yankees. Jae Seo faced off against the young righty for New York, Joba Chamberlain. Rays manager Joe Maddon's main concern coming into the game was whether or not the Rays would be able to handle the heat of Chamberlain, with 52,000 people behind him. However, one man stood alone. Cliff Floyd rose to the occasion and lived up to his name.

Joba held the Rays hitless through the majority of the first 4 innings. THe Yanks got on the board first, from a solo shot hit by 2B Robinson Cano, over the left-center field wall, giving the Yankees a 1-0 lead. In the fifth inning, Rays first basemen Carlos Pena slammed a solo shot right over the 408 mark in centerfield, tieing the game at 1 a piece. It stayed 1-1 until Yankees Manager Joe Girardi decided to stick with Joba to face Cliff Floyd with two men on in the 7th, however that would be a huge mistake.

Floyd bombed a three run home run right down the right field line, hooking around the foul pole and giving the Rays a 4-1 lead. The momentum had swung big time. Rays DH Jonny Gomes followed up on the very next pitch and belted a solo homer into the right field bleachers, upping the Rays lead by 4 runs. However, it was not over. Jae Seo got into some trouble and ahd to leave the game with a few men on. In came reliever Seth McClung, but he could not get the job done. MCCLung let all men on abse in, and Alex Rodriguez's two-run single tied up the game at 5-5.

In the top of the ninth, Mariano Rivera came in to hold off the Rays offense. however there was one issue. Cliff Floyd was due up, and fans all around the Bronx held their breath as the powerful lefty stepped up. Cliff sucked the hope out of every Yankee fan then, as he creamed a solo shot into the right field upper deck, giving the Rays a lead that wouldn't go away, 6-5. Troy Percival got the save.

[align=center]RAYS LOSE IN HEART BREAKING STYLE

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to Rays Postgame, with your host MetsReyes777. It was the third game of a four game set in the Bronx, as the Rays took on the Yankees this afternoon. It was a southpaw matchup, as Scott Kazmir faced off against Yankees pitcher Andy Petitte.

The Rays jumped off to an early lead, as LF Carl Crawford hammered a triple into left-center field, and later scored on an error by Yankees SS Derek Jeter, who would certainly make up for that error later in the game. It stayed 1-0 until the bottom of the second, when C Jorge Posada and DH jason Giambi both knocked base hits, and both scored later in the inning on a Hideki Matsui double into left-center field. New York added two more runs in the bottom of the third inning, when Johnny Damon and Derek jeter both singled and were knocked in on a line drive double down the right field line from DH Jason Giambi.

The Rays were able to tie it up at 4-4 in the top of the sixth with a bunch of basehits and doubles. The game went into extra innings, and in the bottom of the 11th, Yankees shortstop Derek jeter knocked in the game winning run, giving the yankees the win 6-5.

Here are some defensive highlights for the game.

[align=center]RAYS TAKE THE SERIES, HEAD TO TAMPA

Welcome to Rays postgame, I'm your host MetsReyes777. It was the final game of a four-game set between the Tampa Rays and the New York Yankees. Doug Waechter, filling in for SP Edwin Jackson(concussion, will be back in 20 days), squared off against Mike "Moose" Mussina of the New York Yankees. Mussina started out strong, eliminating the Rays 1,2,3 in the top of the first. The Yankees offense got right to work tonight, as they hammered out 4 singles in the bottom of the 1st, scoring 2 runs and jumping out to an easrly 2-0 lead.

It was 2-1 Yankkes going into the bottom of the third inning, when the Yankees offense exploded. They scored 5 runs that inning, including two homeruns from Bobby Abreu and Alex Rodriguez. The 5 run inning made the score 7-1 in favor of New York. However, the Rays had something to say about it. This wasn't the usual Rays team that just gives up, this year this Rays team has heart and passion, and it showed tonight.

The comeback began with the Rays scoring 4 runs in the 4th, all on homeruns from CF Rocco Baldelli, RF Cliff Floyd and DH Jonny Gomes. It was all of a sudden 7-5, and the Rays were right back in the ballgame. In the 5th, the Rays were right back at it again, when B.J. Upton singled and was brought in on a two-run homer by Rocco Baldelli, his second of the ballgame.

In the 6th, the Rays offensive explosion CONTINUED, with homeruns from 3B Akinori Iwamura and SS Jason Bartlett, thus giving the Rays a 9-7 lead. But the Yankees are the Yankees, so of course they must at least make it interesting.

The Yankees scored one run in the bottom of the ninth, making it 9-8 with two outs and two men on for Jose Molina. Molina lined a base hit up the middle, and ALex Rodriguez was waved on by third abse coach Larry Bowa. Baldelli fielded the ball and launched the ball towards Navarro, Dioner caught the perfect one hop throw and tagged out A-Rod for the final out of the game, as the Rays took the victory 9-8.

Here is the video highlight of the last out of the game.

[align=center] RAYS WIN OPENING DAY, LOSE GARZA FOR 18 DAYS

It was Opening Day 2008 in St.Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field. Rays fans know that there is something different about this year, something they have never felt before. Matt Garza faced off against Miguel Batista for the Mariners. Garza could only make it through the first two batters, when he threw a pitch wild and was injured. Garza suffered a minor meniscus sprain and will be out for 18 days. As you may already know, this game BELONGED to Rays 1B Carlos Pena.

Pena belted three homers on the day, and quite possibly made one of the best catches of the season, mirroring Akinori Iwamura's catch in Baltiomore. The play can be seen here.

th_CarlosPenasMiracleCatch.jpg

Andy Sonnanstine, who came in to replace the injured Garza, and who will be pitching for him in the next 18 days, performed brilliantly. Sonnanstine went 6.1 innings, giving up only 5 hits and 1 earned run. Rays manager Joe Maddon was interviewed after the game about Sonnanstine's performance and he said," You just can't ask for any better, Andy did a great job going out there and getting the job done, and that is what this team has been missing for a while." Pretty well put, Joe.

Carlos Pena continued to run the show, belting homers in the 6th, and then the 8th inning, giving him a total of three on the day. The Rays would go on to get the victory, 7-1.

Thanks, bro. Just figured a little change every once in a while can't hurt. :wtg:

first garza then edwin... wow man lol and nice pic of rocco raming posada i belive?

I know man, I'm losing pitchers like it's my job. I can understand Edwin's, but Matty's injury was so random he jsut threw a wild pitch then boom.

And no, haha that was A-Rod that TRYED to test Rocco B's arm. Take a seat, Nim-Rod.

[align=center]MIRACULOUS 14 RUN COMEBACK RESULTS IN WIN FOR RAYS!!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the IMPOSSIBLE has been accomplished. The 2008 Tampa Bay Rays were down 14 to ZERO in this game, and they came back to win it. THis is something you never see, and one must wonder how things like this happen. Well, theres two answers..

Talent & Team Chemistry.

Yes, team chemistry. When Carlos Pena hit his solo HR so make it 14-1, the stadium got a feeling. You could hear the fans saying to eachother, "Just imagine if it happened.." That "it" is now reality.

Believe it or not, ther ewas so much offense from both teams in this game that the play-by-play section of the boxscore is messed up. So what I will do is just post the recap and you can see for yourself.

14 run comeback....yes.

Here is what ended it all.
