MilkmanAnt
When I use Fraps to record a video, some things happen 1. It slows down the game when recording 2. I can't upload a 30 sec. video on youtube due to large size. How can I fix this?
evil1182
1. Your PC is not able to handle it. 2. You could encode it to make it smaller.
MilkmanAnt
Yea thanks I thought of that #1...just wanted to make sure. How can I encode it?
evil1182
You could try Dr. Divx or use Google to find some freeware.
angryrat
If you have Quicktime you can encode it.
jonthefon
I use Xvid codec for encoding mainly. Windows Media PLayer 9 has a codec which worked really well for me when recording games that were 640x480, without too much reduction in quality and low file size. MilkmanAnt
I used Virtualdub and used a Divx codec. It reduced it to 7MB instead of 200MB. It definately isnt clearer than the bigger one. http://youtube.com/watch?v=GJXCzJ0rbvQ
