NYM
I just got back from this movie. I thought it was great. IDK if the movie theaters you went to did this, but the scenes with the monster from the very first one, to the battles on the streets of Manhattan, the sound was extremely loud. My seat was shaking and I can feel the vibrations going through my body. It made me feel like I was there. That's why I think this movie isn't going to be as good on DVD. mrmet06
Personally, for that same reason, I hope they make a ride at Universal Studios for this movie. That'd be awesome.
Kccitystar
I thought the movie was awesome. It captured the real feel of a documentary. If anything, maybe this is just me being a new yorker, I felt that the train station they were in (Spring Street) was a little TOO wide, then again they were not on location when they filmed that scene so that's Hollywood for me... mrmet06
They probably had to make it that wide for acoustics and camera angle purposes.
NYM
O yeah if you didn't notice, the video is old. The people in the video were dead before the movie even started. It was classified as a military video in the beginning, so the military was just watching the movie to find out information about the monster, which makes this just an extremely long trailer to the next movie. NYM
Also, I must say this is a very creative video. You have to pay attention to detail. If you don't some simple things will go rite over your head. It was really just a masterpiece of filming if you payed attention.

wrigleyville33
ok its the splash on the right side. you cant directly see the monster but you can see the splash made from it. this brings up the discussion whether the monster is from space or just came from the sky from somewhere else like japan :)
Keith5920
That splash is too tiny for the monster..
wrigleyville33
That splash is too tiny for the monster.. it was probably the end of the splash or the start of it. trust me it is the monster... the theme of this movie was too clever for this not to be the monster/
Keith5920
yeah but still, I dont think a big splash would then become small? Not sure.
