kgbaseball
In MVPEdit, just change it in team.dat.
skibum5
You need to change ALL instances in THREE files (and in some files they are well scattered). The team.dat file as well as using loclook to change it in both .loc files: FEENG.loc and IGENG.loc. changing team.dat will change things on the schedule when viewed in the game dynasty mode and in the mvpedit program. changing IGENG.loc (in game engine language localization file) changes stuff while game being played. changing FEENG.loc (game front end language localization file) changes stuff while using all the menus in the games but before you actually start playing a game. You can do a simple search and replace if you only change team names, if you also change their cities then you have to do it more manually since some teams share city names. Also you need to change the abreviations for the teams, such as NYY or BOS to approatiate for your custom teams.
