schitonk
anyone have any bit of succes with this POS?? i have to unplug and reinsert the controller literally every 5 mins cause the right side of the 1st analog stick just plain old stops working. i've gone through about 3 of these things cause i've smashed the hell out of them, and each one does this in varying degrees, the current one being the worse i've ever seen.it comes without warning. so, when fielding, if there's something hit to the right of the fielder they'll just start walking and routine fly balls will drop. it's uncanny how so little in this game actually works. i'll give logitech the benefit of the doubt here. should i bother buying a logitech gamepad or just chalk this game and the last 7 months i've played it up as a waste of my time? Guest PARASOL
thats exactly what happens with any controller made by Logitech over time...and NO, there really isnt much you can do to fix that . better go with a Saitek - it never fails . spitoon
I returned mine a week after I bought it...try a search on the net...there are many, many reports of the same problem. The sad thing is that Logitech seems to know about it (many of the posts are on their own website) but aren't doing anything about it. Before you junk it, I think I linked a post with a link to a new USB driver that may have fixed the problems for some people...try a search on this website for "Logitech" and you'll likely find it. EDIT: Here it is http://www.mvpmods.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.ph...hlight=logitech
cybernetic
I found that after I got a new mouse (I was using a Logitech one) that it didn't need to be recalibrated as often
schitonk
yeah bought a saitek...much better, except running straight back isn't an option. players just sort of jog. oh well, the logitech was making the game run choppier as well. must be a conflict with usb 2.0 and their drivers. I use the directional pad to control the baserunners, and the analog to do the general movements....Make sure that "digital" is actually on though.. schitonk
i mean in the field with the analog stick, though i think it's just an illusion cause of the datafile i'm using. one other thing though. can't get buttons 9/10 to work, nor can i figure out how to throw pickoffs. i'm using the keypad for 1st,2nd, 3rd, home, like i did with the logitech. actually, button 9 will work if i use it for fielder positions but not button 10. and the keypad will only work for the pitch direction if the digital button is on. (but the analog stick won't work then)
schitonk
ahhh, i just figured it out. it was pretty much the same as the logitech with button 7 being the "primer" so to speak and then using buttons 1,2,3,4 for pickoffs and primer + directional left/right for intentional walks/hitting batters. button 9/10 only seems to work for pitch history and fielder positions. megabigd
I have no problems at all with my Cordless Logitech Winman Rumblepad.

I don't think it's an illusion. I had the same thing with my Firestorm, guys would run full speed side to side and down, but going straight up they were terribly slow. That's not the case with my P880.
