JoeRudi26
I got the idea for this thread while driving past the High School baseball diamond on the way to my run this morning. Since almost everyone has a digital camera these days, and there are so many people from so many different places on this site, why not post pics from your hometown that has anything and everything to do with baseball? The possibilites are endless, especially with the guys that are from the big cities, or even the guys from Canada and the baseball that we might get from Europe or Asia. If this goes over well, could this possibly be stickied so we can give it enough time to see things from all over the world through the eyes of the members on this site? Big or small, if it's about your hometown baseball, post it and possibly add a caption to explain what's in the pic, if necessary. I'll start if off. Here's a pic from my hometown of Vincennes, Indiana, at the entrance to Robert Hill Field where High School and American Legion (15yrs - 18yrs) play during the summer. Also where Clint Barmes played High School baseball, home of the Vincennes Lincoln Alices. And trust me, I still don't know what an 'Alice' is. The left field scoreboard at Robert Hill Field. The 2002 State Championship sign over the right centerfield fence. And over to the Cub League diamonds, home of the Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth Little League Tournaments. Left field Big Mac Land 2632 sign over right centerfield Scott Rolen, Gil Hodges, and Don Mattingly are from around my area too, I'll try to get some decent 'hometown' pics about those guys too. Signs, restaurants etc. Keep em coming! :)

I hear ya about the snow, if you look in the pics I posted, that water on the field is actually snow that had just melted today.
MarlinsMS_35
We just had our annual "100 inning game" fund raiser, and alot of pics were taken, so I'll wait until they get posted, and I'll show you guys. I looked on Google Earth, but the pics are crap, because they are of the field while it was during renovation.
JoeRudi26
Man, the farthest homerun I ever hit was in a little town in Ozona, Texas, but that quite awhile ago. I actually found the diamond on Google Earth, just wish I had pics. But here's another one, this sign was posted at the 10-12 yr old diamonds here in Vincennes. To be honest, I never really even noticed it until I started taking pictures.
