Anyways, why do you want the Republicans out of the White House so badly, abc? There are some conservatives and Republicans who believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights and are, in general, smart people--unlike Bush. But, Obama has never heard of the Second Amendment, so what can you say?
If there was a republican who's views I agreed on more than any democratic candidate, I wouldn't hesitate in voting for him/her. But, it just happens that every single republican candidate happens to be, in my opinion, a schmuck. Therefore, since all of the candidates disagree with me on pretty much every single issue as do about 95% of most republicans and most likely McCain's future cabinet, I think it's important to get McCain (or whoever the nominee is) out of the white house, especially since the alternative, be it Obama or Clinton, will not be bad at all. If I said "it's time to be united to keep bad presidents out from the White House" would you object to that? That's what I really mean. And, as I said, it just so happens that for me, every single republican candidate will most likely be a "bad president."

Don't get the second amendment in this, that a questionable right - the right to a trial, privacy, and free speech is not debatable.

Congratulations. You must be proud.

Well, actually, yeah, I was. In all seriousness, I was concerned we (me and the Hillster) might match up on an item or two, and thankfully, it didn't happen.

Ironically, I got a couple of matches with Obamma. As for McCain, he came in fourth for me. Apparently, I'm a middle-aged white guy, with a wife and kids, including sending a kid through college.

It's interesting how most people in my peer group that I've talked with have come up with Rommney and Huckabee as matches. I think these little polls/voting matchers really point out demographics and life circumstances. I just plugged in what I see as LESS GOVERNMENT IS BETTER answers, and Rommeny is who I got. Interesting.

Oh, you've got to be kidding me. That would be absolutely disgusting. How about actually thinking about Schwarzenfiaoijefskf's POLITICS, rather than his weight lifting? Especially since Obama's politics are drastically different than "Arnold's." I'm fine with you voting for Obama, but if you really care about the candidate's actual VIEWS and POLITICS, and you support generally most of what Obama supports, if it was anybody else with the same political views, you wouldn't be voting for him.

Sully, do you normally lean towards the democratic candidate? If you do, that's exactly the kind of thing that I hate people saying, that just because Hillary isn't Obama means that you shouldn't vote for her. Yes, Obama would be infinitely better, but it's time to be united to overthrow the republicans from the White House, not be as picky about the precise candidate.

I wasn't being 100% serious when I said that.

I have voted Democratic in the past, I've only been old enough to vote in one previous Presidential election. I have also voted Republican in smaller elections. I find that neither party fits my beliefs very well. I won't vote for Hillary because I disagree with a great deal of her politics. I dont see how thats difficult to understand.

Hi guys. I just wanted to come in and say I thought the best of the three vote quizzes was the one AstroEric posted, this one: http://www.whoshouldyouvotefor.com/

It was "less oversimplified" (now I sound like a politician) than the other two. If you go for the independent quiz, it asks some pretty good questions.

OK, that was interesting. On the Republican and Independent quizzes, I got Huckabee with 165+. On the Democrat, I ended up with Hillary at -9.

  • 4 weeks later...

Are there any links telling us what the delegate counts would be if the Democrats primary process for the delegates was a winner take all process just as with the Republicans?

I tried to figure out what the tally would be, but I lost track quickly. Thanks for any information.

Somebody pee in your Wheaties, abc?
Ha. Ha. Ha. What I meant to say is that if he's going to post an unintelligent insult, he should at least make an argument to back up his claim. That's just my roundabout way of saying that.
