We're more noted for our defense anyway. According to Brandon Inge, we can't concentrate on hitting, because too much of our focus is on the defense, our pitchers, scouting reports and others...we don't have time to think about our hitting. At least my one hit has been a HR. According to Brandon Inge, we can't concentrate on hitting, because too much of our focus is on the defense, our pitchers, scouting reports and others...we don't have time to think about our hitting. At least my one hit has been a HR. Yes, you both may be noted for your defense, but neither of you has managed to throw out a runner all year. Nearly the whole team's hitting has been atrocious, so I wouldn't worry about that too much! He will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the damage tomorrow. Until Chaparro can return to the lineup, Rick Joy will step in at shortstop.
