HBR_Rocket
Can you alter your rosters using MVPedit while you are playing in a dynasty? I have already started a season with a roster but I still want to make roster changes along the way. If MVPedit cannot do it is there another program that can? Thanks in advance. Homer
use tywiggins importer/exporter utility. you'll get the files you need from that to edit with mvpedit, and then use the utility again to import it back into your dynasty.

Homer - Do you know the exact name of the utility? I can't find anything by tywiggins named "importer / exporter" when I search the downloads section. Cavicchi
Isn't the dynasty files in My Documents Dynasty.sav file? How can MVP Edit change stats/history in the dynasty.sav file?
Homer
it doesn't. it reads from dat files. it's in the readme on how to use it. basically if you understand what each program does you can do it right. mvpedit reads from your database folder. since your dynasty is a sav file, you need something else to read it. which is where the importer/exporter comes in. if you run it while you're in your dynasty, it reads from it and converts it over to your dat files. with those files, you can use mvpedit to read them and edit them. once you're done editing them to your liking, you can export them into the game, and then copy all the files from your database folder over to where the importer/exporter reads. then use the importer with your dynasty running and it will import all your changes. Cavicchi
So it can overwrite what you want in the Dynasty.sav file in My Documents?
Homer
just check out his thread on the program. that and the readme explains everything. it won't overwrite your sav file automatically. once you import it, the current roster or dynasty you have open will be changed to the new roster. from there you can save a new dynasty.sav file or save over your old one. Cavicchi
I really want to know if it can change stats and the history of a player in my present dynasty--can it do that? I can't see the progrqam doing that unless it can get into my Dynasty.sav file that is in year 2015 now.

LetsGoFish2015
My game works fine, but after I play a game, when I select Quit, it crashes back to the desktop.
Cavicchi
Yes it can. That is amazing! Thanks for the information, even if you are a Red Sox fan
Cavicchi
Yes it can. Well, not so amazing after all. I edited some career stats in MVP Edit and sent them to the Importer, which I double clicked on to make the changes, but the game crashed and changes were not made. I exported the files from my Dynasty using the Exporter and MVP Edit to Import the DAT files to the directory as per readme instructions. Then I used the Importer as readme instructs by double-clicking but switching back to game causes it to crash. All I did was change one career stat. Any idea why it doesn't work for me?
