Did you install manually (copying the files yourself) or did you run the installer?
mbeal08
I just ran the installer. When I was running the installer (in a created folder called Total Classics 8 in the c/Program Files/ EA SPORTS) after extracting everything it kept saying that it (the installer) could not access the file. So i had to ectract it then move the installer then reselect the folde. It worked and said it installed. (I think that little hiccup is due to VISTA which is a disgrace)

BigRog
i have the same comp as you. turned off the controls, then installed. No error message. The message has to do with the account controls and the installer.
