NBA Live 08

I just got NBA Live 08 and started my first dynasty. I decided to go with the Knicks (even though I'm a Bulls fan), because I wanted a challenge. Well, I didn't know what I was getting myself into apparently. I've tried to dump salary so that they will be under the salary cap, or at least have some expiring contracts at seasons end so that I can begin to build up the team. Problem is, no one wants any of my players. The only one I managed to dump off was Eddie Curry. Has anyone played as the Knicks and been able to trade off some of the larger salaries? (I.E. Randolph, Richardson, Marbury)

it's for xbox 360. And after the one game that I've played so far, it's ok.

The only reason I chose it over NBA 2k8 was b/c I have March Madness 2008.

I like it so far, but like I said, I've only played one game.

The most frustrating thing has been trying to get some of these guys traded so I can get under the salary cap before next season.

Well, gee, easy for you to say, Mav3rel, seeing as you're a REDS fan. Still.

I play 07 on PC pretty often, and like you I've found it's really hard to trade players because A) the CPU is very strict and knows when it's a good deal or not, and B) since you have to wait two or three cyber-days to wait for a response from the other team, you can't switch around players easily to get a response from team, which is extremely annoying - to make one trade, you have to wait often 2 weeks to submit a deal, wait, see it rejected, submit another, wait another two days... defenitely one of the more flawed features of the series. People where giving it awful reviews, but 07 actually isn't bad, aside from a weird flaw present in pretty much all of the games where it very often crashes all of a sudden after playing a game - this is a mass-marketed game that took a year to develop, yet 80% of the games have this problem. Makes me really annoyed at EA.

I gave up on live in 06 and have yet to regret it. 2k has beat it in every way. The graphics are amazing, gameplay is great, and franchise is good. The only thing about it is I feel like i can breeze through a ten year franchise in 10 minutes for 2k, its just not in depth and doesnt feel like your running it
