lautrec
I'm looking to add a 9mm pistol, so I can target practice relatively cheaply. I not adding a 9mm for home protection, this will only be for range and plinking. Who here has a nine? I'm currently looking at a SigSauer P226 and a Glock 17. The Glock feels great, whereas the Sig seems front heavy to me. I don't want to waste my money on something cheap to save a couple hunred bucks. I want the good stuff! anyone have either of these guns? Thanks.

KillerBs
If I were you, I would go with the Glock. It's a great weapon.
lautrec
Geez, Kraw, sorry to offend your sensiblilities - I just like target shooting. I may disagree with you from time to time politically (well, probably all the time time), but I don't wish death on you. As a matter of fact, I thourouhly enjoy reading most of your posts. I'm curious as how I've managed to make you hate me so much. Because we differ on what we consider rights and freedoms as Americans? The only thing I think I could have said to make you madder is "WHEN IS MVP 08 COMING OUT?" IT"S A JOKE! I JEST !!!! sorry for that...LOL. Seriously, I was just hoping to talk to some fellow shooting enthusiasts who might happen to have some experience with these weapons. PS - you probably don't know me like you think you do. Yes, I support Americans right to own firearms. Yes, I support the war in Iraq on some levels. Yes, I am opposed to abortion. However, I'm also opposed to the death penalty. No, I don't support obama or hillary clinton, but I don't really support McCain either. I would personally choose Joe Leiberman. But I'm probably not that right wing guy you are all afraid of. I'm just an average American, who has served his country, and pays a lot of taxes. I vote, and i live with the choice of the masses, good or bad. It's still the best country to live in, and I've lived in Europe as well. I love Krawwhitam's work, btw. Very good stuff. That's why I will contribute $ from time to time. I love me some baseball, too.

lautrec
M249 a keeper for anyones home protection or a nice hunting trip on the weekend. This one might get a tad expensive to operate. But it sure looks nice! Looks like it might run cirlces around our old M-60's.

The M249 Squad Automatic Weapon: The SAW. As an area-target supression weaon, the M249 is meant to be fired in long bursts. I got to use this puppy several times in basic traning, and it packs quite a punch. The pictured piece is actually an airsoft rifle, though - not a real M249. There ya go. Again, I got it for plinking and target shooting only-- so the ammunition will be affordable. I am looking for a 357 or even .45 and the SW M&P 45 is looking pretty good. Thanks for the post.
