MilkmanAnt
Is making cyberfaces and uni's compatible with the GIMP program?
BigRog
yes, gimp is just a stripped down free version of photoshop. all you need to do is make your bmps the right size and then import them into game.
Lucas
actually, gimp has many more features than photoshop, and is much harder to use than PS. GIMP is generally regarded as more powerful than photoshop.
BigRog
really? If thats the case, and I'm not denying your claims, why is photoshop like 1000 and gimp is free?
MilkmanAnt
lol.....I haven't looked at homer's cyberface tutorial, but if is photoshop, would the steps be similar with GIMP?
andrewdon
Yeah I use GIMP for unis and all kinds of other stuff. It isn't that hard once you play around on it.

MilkmanAnt
I downloaded Homer's tutorial twice and it said that it's an unknown format or the file is damaged. So I cant open the rar. What's the problem?
pistonj92
I used to use the GIMP exclusively for my mods. It is pretty good, but I have one problem with making uniforms with it. I haven't found a way to texture the script logo realistically. And I don't know about what Lucas said, CS3 Extended has a whole helluva lot more features from what I saw.
