roadranger
until pressbox updates their headshots photos, i'm going to cbs.sportsline.com/mlb and clicking on the 'players' menu. it shows a small updated photo of the player on his current team. i "save the picture as" a .jpg to my desktop. i then use my irfanview program to save the file as ( the mbp 4 digit players photo id) as a .fsh format but i'd like to know what the best resolution is. as an example: i downloaded haren's photo. it was listed as a 60x80 jpg. i tried both 90x120 and 60x80 but it looks a little grainy and also looks a litle wide. any suggestions? i know how to do the pressbox headshots in photoshop for the best looking photos, but, as i mentioned, none of the photos of the players that switched teams show them with their new team uniforms. i tried doing the changing caps editing ( explained in a different thread), but that was a real pain in the *** and i didn't do a very good job of it. angryrat
You cannot take a picture that has an original resolution of 60x80 and stretch it to 90x120 without distorting it. Until you receive photos with higher resolution, you are stuck with what you have.
