ignod
I'm buying a new CPU and before I invest I need to know if 07 will run. Cause if it wont I'm not getting it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
MarkB
Well, I've seen numerous threads asking the same question, and the overall consensus seems to be that it will run. Specifically, since MVP '05 will run on Vista, '07 should as well, because the core files are not changed. Also, just a word of warning, simply buying a new CPU will not affect your operating system - this is stored on your hard drive. The CPU just controls the processing of data on the system, the hard drive is where your data, and operating system, are stored.

Yankee4Life
Thank you mark for your reply. Im buying a new system not just a prosesser I should have been more clear in my post. I thank you for your time though. While you are buying your new system I want to add that you should get as much RAM in it as possible. Now I'm not sure how other games are with Vista, but with the mods made for this game, a lot of them are in 2X (high resolution, like the uniforms) and it takes a bit more RAM to handle that. Anyways, good luck in your new computer purchase.
BigRog
make sure to take of user account controls on your vista system. This will avoid any problems you will run into.
MarkB
Thank you mark for your reply. Im buying a new system not just a prosesser I should have been more clear in my post. I thank you for your time though. No problem at all, happy to help. On the back of Y4L's post, I'm using 2GB of RAM on my laptop, which runs Vista well. The general consensus that I've experienced is at least 2GB for Vista if you want to have full functionality in the near and far future, so I'd also ensure you get at least 2GB for your new system. Be aware, though, that a 32-bit OS only addresses 3GB of RAM correctly, so if your system comes with 4GB, it won't address it correctly. If you are using Vista 64-bit, this won't be an issue. Good luck with your purchase! :)
