Kopitar57
Alright, so I downloaded the MVP Baseball 1994 mod, and it downloaded all fine and dandy. Now, here's the confusing part, I do all the little things (updated the rosters), but the models are confusing me. I downloaded the TiT 13 and while I extract it, I have a huge list of files in one folder. What do I do with them? 4) Double click on installerthingy and choose the first option "install portraits", click do it. A new window will pop up, 5) Go to the ‘portrait’ folder within the ‘94files’ folder that is in your "MVP Baseball 1994" folder. Drag all 1076 files into the window that popped up in Step 4, click ok on the installer thingy prompt. 6) Double click on installerthingy and choose the second option "install models & uniforms", click do it. A new window will pop up, 7) Go to the ‘models’ folder within the ‘94files’ folder that is in your "MVP Baseball 1994" folder. Drag all 2091 files into the window that popped up in Step 6, click ok on the installer thingy prompt. Close installer thingy. Double-click "mvp2005" in the "MVP Baseball 1994" folder to run the game. I guess this doesn't make sense. There's no options to install these potraits, and I don't know what to do. There all in the folder. So am I dumb and that, or is there anything I can do? I play the game, but the screen freezes on the loading screen. Any help would be cool. krawhitham
If you are using TiT DO NOT EXTRACT the download selected the downloaded file from within TiT and 94 comes with its own installer, you should not have to manually install anything no mater which way you go

ehhh
I'm trying to install this mod as well and cannot get it to run. I follow all the steps and every time I click the mvp2005.exe after the installation is complete the game crashes when the loading bar is about halfway done (with the pictures of an empty HS/little league field). The readme file says the installation will ask for my original MVP CD's which it never did. I have installed every other TC mod just fine but this one is baffling me. I've tried just about everything, I've gone through 3-4 clean installations and retried it with TiT and without it and I can't get this darn thing to work! StormsWarning
best way to install the 94 mod is this.... 1. have a complete new install of mvp, with atleast patch # 2 2. rename the folder mvp1994 3. extract the full contents of the 94 and the update to your destop 4. run the installer, not the 7z 5. it will ask for your original cd's follow steps of that --------------------------------------------------------------- 6. do the same process of steps of for the 94 ( update ) ( 3 & 4 ), it will tell you, it's been updated, after that run the game, should be good to go. ehhh
I tried doing that as well a few times with no luck. In Step 3, is there a difference between the update and the original mod? I DL'd the MVP 94 2.0 file and the patch and still ran into the these problems.
yankseagles
I'm having the same problems with this mod. it crashes midway through the splash screen. I even went as far as copying it over mvp 2005 file and it loads but it crashes everytime i try to play a game or even edit my rosters. i have mvp 07 with a bunch of mods and tc 8 and they both work fine. its unfortunate because mvp 94 is the mod i really want to play. Hory
Install MVP 94 2.01 on top of a clean MVP 2005 installation, not a modded one like MVP07.

Yankee4Life
Wait a second. Let me see if I read this right. You re-installed your mods OVER your clean installs? That could be the problem right there if indeed I am understand this correctly. A clean install means exactly that. Install Mvp 05 just as if you got it out of the box. Install NO MODS after this is completed. You will then have a copy of the game as it was right out of the box, therefore a "clean" install. Then you install MVP 1994 over that. That should take care of it for you. Any mods you want to install you have to put them on AFTER you install Mvp 1994.

Any mods you want to install you have to put them on AFTER you install Mvp 1994. yes, i should have clarified. i had a couple of mods(94 being one) that i had installed. some mods i had over each other like(78 over 07) which needless to say caused a few issues. also i had no more "clean installs" of 05 (straight out of the box as you say, vanilla if you will) to install 88 over, which ive been anticipating for some time. so i deleted everything, uninstalled mvp 05 then re-installed vanilla 05. copied the hell out of it and started rehashing the mods. 88 installed and works from what i can tell so far. however as you can see, 94 is getting this error half way through the installation. Homer
if you want to do what i do, make the clean install of the game. then install whatever patches you use. then copy the entire mvp folder and paste it somewhere else on your computer for backup. this way, every time you want to do a clean install, it's as simple as delete, copy and paste.
