MVP 08 mod mentioned on Max Kellerman show 3/11

Somebody pointed this out on the MVP 08 thread. I just listened to the podcast and at 8 min in, Max goes off about how MVP was the best baseball game put out and how 2K8 and the Show suck because they don't know how to rate players and said that one of his listeners wrote in and said that the MVP 08 mod was available to those who have MVP 05. Unfortunately Max didn't know what a "mod" was and thought it was a "module" that you could plug in and play. Bill Simmons "The Sports Guy" thought it was pretty cool. Still it was nice to see MVP 08 and the work these guys do reach a national audience again...

Max is a great guy. I NEVER call into a radio shows, but I've called into his TWICE. (To talk about the Yankees of course).

But his approach to discussing topics is really logical and full of reason. It's really cool that the actually knows about MVP's awesomeness, I have to send this over to the guys at Blue Castle.

I was wondering if anybody wanted to call in to Max's show or e-mail him today clarifying what MVP 08 was saying that it was an add-on computer program to MVP 2005 and not some sort of "module" that you plug into a console. Also it might not be bad to plug this site and EAMods. But if you guys don't want any more publicity due to fear of EA or copyright stuff, that is understandable as well...

Good point BigO, but wouldn't you think that EA knows about both sites already? There's a couple of accounts here on this site that the users openly say they work at EA sports.

But it would be a good idea if it were explained to this guy that this is not a "module" and it is going to be a very good mod.

They can afford me. I'll work for $8/hour and spend all my time using their software to create EVERY MLB uniform ever worn. They would, of course, have to pull strings to get me access to Cooperstown.
