stovetop24
What Gamepad do you use? How does it work for you? Was it difficult setting up? According to a post I saw on amazon.com, these were the supported gamepads for MVP 2005. Have you had luck with other controllers not listed? JP_Frost
I have the Logitech Wingman Cordless. I've been using it for a couple of years now and I'm very pleased with it. At first I was a little worried that it would eat batteries, but it's actually pretty good. Haven't had any problems.

Fatalah
I just bought a used XBOX360 Wired controller from Amazon.com for $25 buckeroos. Works really great after I figured out how to properly edit the controller cfg file. Plus, now I have an additional controller to use on my 360 console! Jim825
Saitek P880 I've had it since MVP2004 and have had no problems whatsoever. The only tweaks I had to make in the controller.cfg file were to reverse the settings for sliding so that you hold the stick up to slide headfirst and down to slide feet first and to the left to slide to the inside of the base and right to slide to the outside of the base. The default settings were reversed with the default settings.
JoeRudi26
I own the Logitech Dual Action, a Saitek P2500 Rumble Force, and the Saitek P880 Dual Analog. I started out with the Logitech, tried using the others, but always came back.

StormJH1
Does the Logitech Dual Action work for everyone? It looks kinda like a PS2 controller, but as long as it functions for this game, I have one, and should be fine.

Cavicchi
I have been using the Logitech Wingman Cordless RumblePad for years, but I had to replace it a few times because replacing batteries stopped working. Fortunately, I was able to purchase a few on the Internet, the controller has been discontinued for a long time. I love the feel of this controller, fits my hand and is very comfortable for me. ehhh
Just a regular Xbox controller w. the USB adaptor. It'd feel too weird to play MVP with anything else.
Boogs
I just bought a used XBOX360 Wired controller from Amazon.com for $25 buckeroos. Works really great after I figured out how to properly edit the controller cfg file. Plus, now I have an additional controller to use on my 360 console! Can you explain how you did this? I bought a wired 360 controller on Friday and spent two days trying to figure out how to get the X button to throw a pitch rather than show the player info. To get around it I had to basically remap the controller to a very odd configuration.

ste4236
I went out to buy an Action Dual, but it was $33.00 at best buy when its list price was $20, so I ended up just getting the wireless pc adapter for my 360 controller. what settings do I need to change?
